Inspired by Bull Kelp groves in Ruckle Park, BC
VASE. BULL KELP.
Description
VASE. BULL KELP. – West Coast Low-Tide Inspired 3D Printed Vase (Made in BC)
The BULL KELP VASE is a sculptural 3D printed vase inspired by the quiet magic of the West Coast at low tide. When the water pulls back, bull kelp reveals itself beneath the surface—long, flowing strands drifting through the shallows, anchored to the ocean floor. At high tide, it disappears again, hidden just below the waves.
This vase draws from that moment of reveal, inspired by low-tide walks along the coast and time spent exploring places like Ruckle Provincial Park, where bull kelp moves gently through the water and small pockets of vegetation gather in tide pools nearby. Delicate sea plants, algae, and grasses cling to rocks, creating miniature ecosystems that feel both rugged and fragile.
3D printed on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the Bull kelp Vase captures that organic movement and coastal softness in a modern, sculptural form. It works beautifully as a standalone object or styled with fresh or dried arrangements.

Why the Bullkelp Vase Exists
Low tide reveals a different coast—one filled with movement, texture, and quiet detail. The Bull kelp Vase was designed to bring that moment indoors: the gentle sway of kelp beneath the surface, the small vegetation growing in tide pools, and the calm that comes from slowing down and looking closely.
A quiet piece of the West Coast, shaped by tide and time.
